The Tears Don't Stop Today

The tears don't stop today... there are little breaks... but they are ready to pounce without notice.

Some years this day goes by and I don't remember until supper time... it's Julie's birthday.

Usually my Grandma will call... and I don't answer because I don't want to weep with her... I want to do that in solitude.

I want the darkness... with the smallest flickering candle to keep me company.

A place where I can hide... and still have the hope of light...

Happy Birthday Little Sister... today is a hard one.
